Nunda’s Mini Bar

These pages are dedicated to my attempt at learning to paint miniatures

I started painting a few years ago when my wife and I started getting into tabletop gaming. I had played D&D in the early 80’s and our new found hobby made me dig through the old boxes to find my lead miniatures. This brought back the memories of my D&D adventures and the fun we had painting with our testor modeling paints. A quick search on ebay reveled a bag of Reaper paints. I wasn’t sure if it was a good deal, and had no idea what I was delving into.

After painfully attempting a few mini’s on my own I took advantage of something that did not exist in the day’ of old,  the internet, specifically (Youtube). The content and tutorials are endless. I was fortunate enough to pick up most of my paints when a local store went out of business and discounted the Citadel paints by almost 75%. Here’s my paint station.

I would also like to give a shout out to Sorastros Painting tutorials.
I have learned a lot from his step by step instructions.

Quite simply amazing work…

I just started looking into building some terrain and tiles for our D&D Sessions.
I found Black Magic Craft as a great resource.
